Dearest Julie,
Your post coming up on my sidebar is always a joyful thing! You show here again some very rare and excellent shots of quite a variety. The cuckoo's red circled eye so well kept! And for being able to capture the red tailed hawk the way you did; that's having LUCK!
Hugs to you and hope you did make steady progress on your home.

Gorgeous images, Julie. Congrats on the Harris's Sparrow. Love to see those birds. We don't see them often, but usually a few passing through in the spring and the fall. And you found American Avocets as well! When they are here they have their cinnamon breeding colours. Another of my favorites.

Stunning photography of beautiful birds, Julie! Most of the images are clear and crisp photos, but I wonder if a few of them are paintings or photos, for example No. 5 perhaps due to the bokeh effect. The combination of photography and birding is such an exciting, healing, creative, and healthy activity. I’m happy to be shared your wonderful experiences with as always. Have a nice December.

Thank you! The Harris's Sparrow is not commonly seen in my area. It winters in the central region of the United States and breeds in Canada.
