Absolutely amazing series! It's hard to choose my favorite as they are all so good. you were clearly a patient photographer to get all these great images. I have to claim to be extra excited for the Anhinga as I've never seen a good image of one out of the water. I was lucky enough to capture a distant one feeding once! Anhinga caught in the act

What a wonderful collection of photos of birds of Florida! My favorite is the profile of the Great Blue Heron, each feather so clear and the expression of the eye so intriguing. We were lucky enough last May to quietly observe herons in a rookery in the Everglades at dawn. What an experience! Your photos are much better than mine could ever be--you are an amazing photographer.

All gorgeous pics. Next time you are in the WPB (Florida East coast) area come by and take all the purple martin photos you want. We have a pretty large colony here and last year fledged over 150 baby purple martins. Up close and personal.
