Hi Julie, I was so happy to see a new post on your blog, clicked on it, and when it opened up the first thought in my mind ... "Oh My!" Yes, it is that wonderful. And your title is perfect. These are absolutely wonderful shots, so delicate in focus, and so carefully composed. This is the first time I recall butterfly photos from you. They are amazing! Julie, your photography has been such an inspiration for me and it continues to be so. I can't wait for some spring weather to get out and try some shots similar to what you have posted here. The person right above me in the comments said, "You successfully brightened my day." Let me second that! :-) Thank you for sharing! John

ReplyDeleteI can only add to the comments agreeing that these beautiful photos have brightened my day. The photos of the Argiope and the Checkered Skipper have inspired me to try to improve my own insects photography. Dearest Julie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and comment and what a pleasure to visit you here (was at the hospital when you posted this)! Lovely photos, my husband also enjoyed viewing them with me. We don't have the joy of spring yet as we have for the 2nd time our workshop flooded and need to run the wet vac and still mopping up... We will replace our gutters for wider ones and more pipes going down so it will not spill over as much.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
Absolutely amazing pictures, the dragon fly and the dew on the downy feather are my favorites, although give me a minute and I'll change my mind.
