Migration Magic ~ Part 2

This post is part 2 of a series featuring beautiful birds observed during the month of May. Most of these lovely feathered friends are just passing through on their migration north. Though the weather this spring has been quite volatile, stormy and chilly, I did manage to spend a few glorious days at my favorite birding spots in the city.

I wanted to get this colorful post out earlier but wedding plans took priority. I am now officially a married woman filled with great joy. I hope to post blogs more often now that the wedding planning is over.

    Again, absolutely beautiful. You must be a bird magnet. To find, see and photograph so many of these beauties amazes me. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to capture (photograph) a Virginia Rail, very exciting. Thank you for sharing.

    Julie good to see your camera recovered from the party, It was a good one I was honored to be a part of it.
    Nice shot of the Oriole and Tanager. we have both of them here in NH, but I have yet to spot either in my yard or nearby woods. I am so jealous. Nest time we visit I will make sure we have time to go birding.
